Instant Gratification vs Delayed Gratification

In almost any instance that I can think of...
Delayed gratification would seem far sweeter.

One thing though...
It only seems better on hindsight.
Like...
I won't be fully grateful for something till way down the road when I reflect upon it.

I think I'm easily motivated...
But not by others.
It has got to be from the results of my own effort.
Kinda anal... come to think of it.
I'm a sucker for self-satisfaction...
(Gawd... that sounds so wrong!)

Anyway...
Sometimes... I think I'm the luckiest girl in the world.
Blessed?
Very.
I've got wonderful people in my life that I'm never ever tired of seeing and whom I'm always missing, regardless of how little time it has been since we last met.
