Last Teen Year

Living your childhood was probably slow and really educational. But what happens when we hit the teens? Doesn't everyday seem to get shorter with each year you accumulate? Just realised that it was my last teen year... What happens when you're 19?

Personally......

Do you enjoy doing personality tests?

Seems silly right?
Taking a test set by simply another individual...
Setting yourself to be judged...
Letting someone else define who you are...

Sad fact of the world is...
Is it another person's opinion that really matters...
We are brought up on this fact...
Our parents teach us how to win their praise (and the praise of their friends)
They insist on it, in fact...

Then you go through 10 years of compulsory education...
Again, you've got the rule books...

Heck, even religion defines who we should be like... who we should follow, who we should be...

And 'clever', modern us think that it's now cool not to have any rules.
The very fact that we say
'The only rule is that there are no rules'
already is a rule that we'll follow.

Irony...

I wonder how the first people lived...
No rule book to adhere to...
Adam and Eve had only to follow 'do not eat the fruit from that tree' (or something like that)
What else dictacted how they behaved???

Hm...
